We at Quigley Marine Detailing believe strongly there is a right way to buff a boat, and a wrong way.

Time and time again I see a crew pull up to a boat, race around it yelling.. And they are only using one bottle each. They zip around the boat, and run away. This is called cleaner waxing a boat. No poilishing or waxing is involved here, leaving only a tiny amount of protection on your gelcoat. This leaves swirls, and no protection. I saw one boat from across the lagoon with swirls like a vintage tie die shirt. THAT far away.

Granted, swirls are almost impossible to avoid in gelcoat with compound. You are cutting into the gel.

Polishing shines it, seals it, and removes most swirls.

We might take a little longer, but your satisfaction is work it.

This is a 4 step process. Done on all boats. Compound, Compound, polish, wax.

Quigley Marine Highly reccomends that you get your boat on a weekly and even a monthly schedule.  Heres a little info on our ever so popular service.

Most boat owners dont live at their boats week to week.

The weekly schedule is like having housekeeping service at a hotel. Wash/spray wax exterior, interior, cabin, engine room, fish boxes, glass, vinyl etc. As your boat sits, it gets a layer of grit and dust on it. Thats no way to keep your investment.

Its a very low cost service, but only offered locally (from Manasquan down to Forked River).

We offer on call services also.

Its really a no brainer! Boats are a luxury and should be maintained top notch!
